MODEL TMB1

The old industry standard twentieth century CO2 inflator first appeared around 1920--a plastic shell with an arm and pin that discharges a CO2 cylinder when a rip cord is pulled. Unfortunately, today's inflators remain largely unchanged, even though for decades PFD users have been searching for a reliable, cost-effective CO2 inflator that will eliminate the single greatest danger for all inflatable safety devices...

For decades the United States Coast Guard, the flotation device industry and life vest/life raft users have all been looking for an automatically signaling CO2 inflator that will tell us if there's an empty or full CO2 cylinder screwed into an inflator--but a direct quote from the FEDERAL REGISTER claims that the technology for such a device at a reasonable cost is presently not available.

--WRONG!

THE PROBLEM: THE GREATEST DANGER WITH INFLATABLE DEVICES
Until now the single greatest risk with life vests, rafts and other inflatable devices is the fact that outwardly an inflator with a full or CHARGED CO2 cylinder and one with an empty or DISCHARGED CO2 cylinder look exactly alike. This means that sooner or later every inflatable device owner will face the following dangers: 1) repacking the device and forgetting to replace the empty CO2 cylinder with a charged one; 2) not completely screwing a fully charged CO2 cylinder into the inflator, or 3) reinserting the spent CO2 cylinder back into the same inflator--obviously any one of these mistakes could have fatal consequences in an emergency.

THE SOLUTION: THE FIRST MAJOR BREAKTHROUGH IN INFLATORS IN ALMOST A CENTURY
